How much does iDindi cost?

iDindi is a paid app available on the App Store. Check the current price on the App Store page.

Is my data safe? Where is it stored?

By default, all your data is stored exclusively on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to our servers. Your financial data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable the optional sync feature.

When sync is enabled, data is end-to-end encrypted before transmission. We cannot read your financial information.

How does the sync feature work?

The optional sync feature lets you share your financial data across multiple iPhones — useful for couples or households managing finances together. To use it:

  • Enable sync from the app's Settings.
  • Create or join a sharing group.
  • All members of the group can see and edit shared data.

Data is encrypted on your device before it's sent to our servers. Only people in your sharing group can decrypt and read it.

Is the data encrypted on my device?

iDindi relies on iOS's built-in hardware encryption, which protects all data on your iPhone when it's locked. Your data is as secure as your device passcode or biometric authentication.

The app's local database is not separately encrypted beyond iOS system protections.

Which iPhone models are supported?

iDindi requires iOS 15.0 or later and is designed for iPhone. It is currently iPhone-only and is not available for iPad.

iDindi is fully localized in 10 languages:

How do I back up my data?

Your iDindi data is included in your iPhone's regular iTunes/Finder and iCloud backups. As long as you back up your iPhone, your financial data is protected.

You can also export your data in CSV format from within the app for manual backups or use in other tools.

How do I delete all my data?

You can reset all app data from Settings → iDindi → Reset Data within the app. This permanently deletes all accounts, transactions, and settings from your device.

If sync is enabled, you can also delete your data from our servers from the same settings screen.

iDindi has been around since 2009 — will it keep being updated?

Yes. iDindi has been continuously maintained and updated since its first App Store release in 2009. We're committed to keeping it compatible with the latest iOS versions and continuing to add improvements.
